Athletic Background:
I was a music nerd with a passion for the outdoors. Before I walked into CrossFit Clan, I ran (sort of) and did sit ups (badly). I had never lifted a barbell, and considered my five pound dumbbells my heavy weights.
What Inspires Me/Why I Coach:
CrossFit changed my life by making me focus on what my body can do, versus what it looks like. I love the idea of helping others realize what amazing things their bodies can do and what they are capable of.
Life/Fitness Goals:
I love being outdoors. We do what we can do in the gym so we can do everything we want to do out of the gym. I am also so inspired by our older members. I truly hope I can be like them when I grow up and be as active as possible as long as possible.
